Born and raised in Sardinia, Italy, I began my journey with a humanities-focused education before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the prestigious Brera Academy in Milan. These formative years shaped the foundations of my visual language and authorial approach.

In 2020, I joined the studio of Gian Paolo Barbieri as a photography assistant ad archivist, immersing myself in the world of high fashion and luxury, contributing to projects for iconic brands such as Armani, Valentino, Versace, Bulgari, and Yves Saint Laurent.
I went on to collaborate on major fashion campaigns, including extensive work with Luxottica and Yuma Studio on global brands like Ray-Ban, Persol, Tiffany, Sunglass Hut, and Oakley.
In 2022, I was entrusted with the creation of the in-house photography department at Engel & Völkers Milano, Italy’s largest luxury real estate agency. There, I led the team, shaped the brand’s visual identity, and implemented a streamlined operational system.
Concurrently, I continued to work across fashion and editorial projects — from Milan Fashion Week coverage to campaigns published by Vogue, Il Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, Vanity Fair, and more. I collaborated with renowned production houses including C41Milano and GittoBattaglia.
In 2023, I relocated to Melbourne, Australia, where I currently work as a Photographer, Filmmaker, and Creative Director. Since day one, I’ve had the privilege of working on creative projects with leading international clients across Australia and beyond.

Rolling Stone Magazine recognised me as New Talent, stating, “In Michele’s projects, thoughts become images, and glimpses of past experiences are captured in unique snapshots, imbued with a profound sense of transcendence.”
